This is EASY PEASY! You do NOT cook the noodles first. Just layer all the ingrediants and BAM turn on the crockpot and let it do it’s wonders. Perfect with garlic bread and a crispy salad!

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 29 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 8 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup grate Parmesan cheese

Brown ground beef in a skillet along with the onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, Drain.

Add the tomato sauce, water and tomato paste, salt, oregano, mix well.

Spread ¼ meat sauce in an ungreased crock pot, arrange a 1/3 of the uncooked noodles over the sauce.

Break noodles if necessary.

Combine the cheeses, spoon 1/3 of cheese mix over the noodles.

Repeat twice.

Top with meat sauce.

Cook on low 4 – 5 hours.
