Hands down one of our families favorite desserts!!
(Will need 1 LARGE cookie sheet with sides which is a Jelly Roll Pan)
- 2 Sticks of margarine
- 1 cup of water
- 4 Tablespoons of cocoa
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 cups of sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup soup cream
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Bring to a boil,:2 sticks of margarine, 1 cup of water, and 4 tablespoons of cocoa.
Remove from heat and add 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, and ½ teaspoon salt.
Beat in 2 eggs, ½ cup sour cream, and 1 teaspoon baking soda.
Pour onto a large greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 6 tablespoon milk
- 1 – 1 pound box of confectioner’s sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
Bring to boil 1 stick of margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa, and 6 tablespoons milk.
Remove from heat; add the box of confectioner’s sugar, t teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans.
Beat well and spread on warm cake from oven.
Especially delicious with a large scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!!!
